Service Description
604 What does our Community Foundation Do? Instructor Jennifer Housel The Community Foundation of the Endless Mountains is celebrating 28 years of helping local donors achieve their philanthropic goals in Susquehanna, Wyoming, Bradford, and Sullivan counties – as well as in other regions in the USA and around the world! Come to learn how we connect donors and nonprofit organizations, and how TOGETHER we make a positive impact, not just for today but far into the future. Staff will share the history of the Foundation and give an overview of our current philanthropic funds. They will also answer frequently asked questions such as: “What is an endowment/fund?”, “How do endowments benefit my community?”, and “How can I help?” To round out our time together, staff will lead a narrated tour of our beautiful facility located at 270 Lake Avenue. This historic home was donated to the Foundation through the generosity of visionary donors, and it holds numerous items of regional and historical interest. The class limit is 25 students.
