Service Description
301 Tree ID Instructor Jim Kessler, Forester, Master Gardner This is a hands-on class designed to help the student identify common woodland species of trees, and a few shrubs. We will learn techniques, such as identifying features and nomenclature and what they mean. We will use leaves, stems, twigs, buds, tree shapes and habitat to identify 20 to 30 trees. Bring your tree book if you have one. Several will be available for use. Rain or shine. Dress for the weather and hiking footwear. The class will end at dark. One Wednesday: September 9, 2026 @ 5:30 PM Location: Kessler's Tree Farm 742 SR 1018, Hallstead Pa. Fee: $5.00
