606 An Introduction to Better Investing.org and Drip Investments Instructor Howard Burkett Better Investing is a national nonprofit organization, with roots back to 1940, dedicated to educating individual investors and investment clubs to become successful life-long investors. Howard has more than 25 years of experience with Better Investing as a member and an instructor. He has founded two investment clubs – one almost 30 years old. He will introduce the BI approach and show how to use their proven approach to select successful companies to invest in, and to know WHEN to buy/hold/sell their stock. It’s never too late in life to start, but always better to start young! He will cover how to set up accounts for your children/grandchildren or even other young people that you want to invest in their future. The class will also cover the concept of a Dividend Reinvestment Plan, and how you can set one up. You will receive a book (10’th edition!) that is a great tool to set up a DRIP and to educate young investors. The book includes a $20.00 coupon to set up your first account! Each person that enrolls will suggest two companies to analyze and from that group, we will determine which is the BEST to buy, based on the BI Software! This class is focused on beginners, but open to all.
