104 Learn to Knit and Improve Your Knitting Skills Instructors Bruce Baessler and Jenny Olin
Using the “English” knitting style most used in the U.S. Bruce will guide you through the basic skills of casting on, knitting, purling, and taking your finished work off the needles.
Already know how to knit with the “English” method? Jenny will teach the “Continental” method, where the yarn is held with the left hand. Using this smaller hand movement, you’ll be surprised how quickly you can knit.
Join us for four evenings of fun and learning! Knitting needles and yarn will be provided.

With winter on the way it’s always nice to have something to warn up those cold hands Mittens are one of those great projects to make for yourself or for a gift. They knit up quickly with a small amount of yarn. In this class you will make a pair of mittens and learn a few knitting skills such as knitting in the round, increases and decreases, and following a pattern. Knowledge of basic knit and purl stitches is required. Yarn and needles will be provided. The class limit is 6 students.
