Ricky Tims first published the process for making a convergence quilt in 2003. Since that time, many quilters have expanded on that process and have made many beautiful and unique variations. In this class we will be making a Harmonic Convergence quilt, by slicing and dicing and intermingling just 2 – 4 different coordinated fabrics of your choosing. This will be a two-day class, day one will focus on the cutting and piecing of the convergence, and day 2 will focus on the finishing touches that will make it your own: borders, raw edge appliqué, or any embellishment of your choice. The piecing is very simple, basically sewing strips together, the magic is in the cutting and layout of the strips. The result, a wall hanging, or table-topper that is sure to surprise and delight you. A supply list will be provided to all registrants.  This class is limited to 15 students.
